Virtual Exhibition
MIKISIKWASO – She sews beads

MIKISIKWASO is our first virtual exhibition of traditional Anicinabe objects. It features twenty objects from the collections of the Museum of Civilization, the McCord Museum and the Canadian Museum of History. You will discover traditional carvings and decorations made from bark, leather, porcupine quills or beads, which were used by our ancestors to mark their belonging to the Anicinabe territory and nation.
